Wedding Planning Tips Home
Traditions are changing with the times and with the ever increasing costs associated with planning a wedding. Although in the past, the majority of the wedding expenses were traditionally the responsibility of the Bride's family the trend is now leaning toward wedding expenses being shared between the Bride and Groom and their families.
Following are some "traditional" wedding expense responsibilities that will give you some idea of how wedding expenses were/are "traditionally" shared. Don't worry though, the wedding police will not track you down if you choose to change tradition a bit. How (or if) you and your families decide to share the wedding expenses is a decision that should be discussed together when initially establishing your wedding budget.
Making a decision on how or if wedding expenses should be shared in advance of starting the wedding planning process will make your wedding planning experience much more enjoyable - and much less nerve-racking.
